Hey this is Tricia from Alabama. I met rob in Cinncinatti in 2001 at a phish show. I sat behind you and we started talking about hemp some how and you gave me your card. You may not remember but I just thought you had a great job because I am very pro hemp. I didn't know alot about hemp until about 4 years ago I did 2 research papers on hemp. Wonderful site! I visited one of your stores when I was in Louisville one summer and love your bags! Great to find them again, mine died after two years of faithful service. Great info., too. I have always been a supporter of the use of hemp. I am also an advocate for the legalization of mar- ijuana for use by those who find it to be of medical assistance. It will always be my heartfelt opinion that, if the Gov't would legalize marijuana, there would be less use of other drugs (I include alcohol as one of those drugs) on/off the black market. I did a presentation at my college about the many uses of hemp ~ it's history and background. People were astounded at the thousands of ways to replace wood and cotton products with hemp. They were also very confused and angered ~ wondering why our government has outlawed such a versatile crop that could solve alot of the entire world's problems. This just reinforces the fact that our government really does NOT have our best interests in mind ~ only theirs ~ and they don't make any sense.

it takes about $500 in hemp to get you as high as $5 of pot does, think about. we need to get the message out that we want hemp legal for environmental reasons, not to produce ninety dollar joints.!?

FYI: The DEA has rewritten the federal laws AGAIN - Without Congresses involvement or approval - three times within the past five months. "They haven't bothered to notify anybody in the hemp industry, and they're not responding to the business people and elected officials who are trying to verify what they're doing, They're just pretty much ignoring everybody." says Kathleen Chippi co-owner of the Boulder Hemp Company. I just finished reading the article "Legalize it" from Audubon Magazine. That right there is what every police officer, politician, and anyone who thinks that hemp is marijuana needs to read. I think the problem is, most people are just too closed-minded to see the truth. It is truly sad that so many benefits aren't being experienced because of the false impressions of hemp.
